Mission Moment

Brody is thriving in his new home thanks to support from the Staffworks Fund.

Brody was wandering homeless in winter and suffering with a broken leg, fortunately, he was rescued by the Stevens-Swan Humane Society. The cost of surgery to repair Brody’s leg was staggering so the Staffworks Fund stepped in and provided the necessary funds.

Brody was adopted by Katelyn and Jessie Warner and he is thriving in his new home and has bonded with Mia who was adopted from SSHS in 2016.

“He loves to play tug of war with Mia, go on car rides, give kisses, snuggle and even snore,” Katelyn said. “We are very grateful for the support that Staffworks provided to fix Brody’s leg. He runs and plays like normal and is so full of life.”

Staffworks has been a major donor to the Stevens-Swan Humane Society for more than 20 years. We will continue to work together to reduce animal suffering and promote a humane environment for at-risk animals in our communities.
